RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated in the third strategic dialogue meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Central Asian countries on Wednesday.
Hosted by Kuwait, the meeting focused on strengthening relations between the GCC and Central Asia across various sectors, as well as enhancing multilateral coordination on shared issues.
Officials also discussed preparations for the upcoming summit between the two regions, scheduled to be held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, in May. The first GCC-Central Asia Summit took place in Jeddah in 2023.
Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, also attended the meeting.
